This Easter, 300 Christians in Sri Lanka were tragically killed in a major terrorist operation attacking churches and luxury hotels. However, prominent Democrats such as Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton did not mention how the attacks targeted Christians, but rather “Easter worshippers”.
The attacks on tourists and Easter worshippers in Sri Lanka are an attack on humanity. On a day devoted to love, redemption, and renewal, we pray for the victims and stand with the people of Sri Lanka.

On this holy weekend for many faiths, we must stand united against hatred and violence. I’m praying for everyone affected by today’s horrific attacks on Easter worshippers and travelers in Sri Lanka.

How come they have an issue with saying Christians? This is because they only use identity politics when it comes to minorities in the United States and around the world, and Christianity is the world largest religion with an estimated 2.2 billion followers. However, using this number as an indication of “privilege” in Sri Lanka would be hypocritical, because Christianity is a religious minority there.
The left is refusing to acknowledge that Western, Judeo-Christian values are under attack, as it would drive nationalism, and therefore result in people for voting for isolationist politicians like President Donald Trump. They do not want people to steer away from the modern globalist, progressive ideology, which encourages secularity. America was founded upon Judeo-Christian values because God is referred to in the Declaration of Independence and the Pledge of Allegiance, and most of the Founding Fathers believed in God themselves. These values are reflected onto all Americans, regardless of religious affiliation or lack thereof, because citizens are taught from a young age to treat others as they want to be treated, an ideal that can be directly tied to the Bible.
An attack on Judeo-Christian values is not the only reason that makes using “Easter worshippers” ignorant. When the attacks on mosques occurred in New Zealand back in March, both Obama and Clinton referenced the Muslim community.
Michelle and I send our condolences to the people of New Zealand. We grieve with you and the Muslim community. All of us must stand against hatred in all its forms.

My heart breaks for New Zealand & the global Muslim community. We must continue to fight the perpetuation and normalization of Islamophobia and racism in all its forms.
White supremacist terrorists must be condemned by leaders everywhere. Their murderous hatred must be stopped.

The left only cares about people they can patronize and view as oppressed, and everyone they view as privileged will be invalidated. They know by validating only specific causes, they continue to brainwash minorities under the false pretense of caring, by using bold political language that produces empty promises of rapid change.
By these left-wing politicians blatantly ignoring the threat to Christians, they are also neglecting a threat to all Americans, who tend to process the similar ideals of respect and tolerance for all.
